Kinetic Rain is an artwork designed for Terminal 1 of Singapore Changi Airport. Kinetic sculptures add a contemplative element to the bustling transit space in the departure hall.

Kinetic Rain 由安装在航站楼两个中央自动扶梯上方的两部分组成。每个对称元件由 608 个镀铜铝滴组成。水滴通过钢丝连接到计算机控制的电机上，电机可以精确地升高和降低水滴。
Kinetic Rain consists of two sections installed above the terminal's two central escalators. Each symmetrical element consists of 608 copper-coated aluminum drops. The droplets are connected by steel wires to a computer-controlled motor that raises and lowers the droplets with precision.
这两个元素通过十五分钟的动画序列进行对话，从抽象形式演变为具象的三维形式。有时这两个部分一致地移动，有时它们相互镜像、互补或跟随。
The two elements dialogue through a fifteen-minute animated sequence that evolves from an abstract form to a figurative three-dimensional form. Sometimes the two parts move in unison, sometimes they mirror, complement or follow each other.
整个装置总面积超过75平方米，高度超过7.3米。从上面、下面和各个侧面都可以看到。复杂的计算机设计运动的视觉体验根据视角的不同而完全不同。
Kinetic Rain 受新加坡樟宜机场集团委托，由 MKT, Olching 制造和安装。
The entire installation has a total area of more than 75 square meters and a height of more than 7.3 meters. It can be seen from above, below and from all sides. The visual experience of the complex computer-designed movement is completely different depending on the viewing angle. Kinetic Rain was commissioned by Singapore's Changi Airport Group and manufactured and installed by MKT, Olching.
