不同于其他任何形式的博物馆，电影博物馆将人们的个人生活与记忆联系在了一起。在创始人／艺术总监迪尔曼图蒙的指导下，协调亚洲为新的上海电影博物馆创造了一个以互动和对话为推动力的博物馆体验环境，它将参观者在上海电影的故事中变成一个积极的参与者。在逾15,000平方米的博物馆展示空间内，上海电影博物馆与参观者共同分享了上海电影业从传奇的1886开篇时代直至今日3D电影风靡一时的点点滴滴。Unlike any other kind of museum, the Film Museum connects people's personal lives and memories. Under the direction of founder/artistic director Dillman Tumon, Coordination Asia has created an interactive and dialogue-driven museum experience environment for the new Shanghai Film Museum, which transforms visitors into the story of Shanghai film an active participant. In the museum exhibition space of more than 15,000 square meters, the Shanghai Film Museum shared with the visitors the details of the Shanghai film industry from its legendary beginning in 1886 to the current 3D film popularity.

上海电影博物馆坐落于上海繁华市中心徐家汇的上海电影制片厂旧址上，新的电影博物馆坐拥4层楼层，有着超过70多个互动装置以及3000多件历史文物展品。作为这座城市的第一个电影博物馆，它将成为上海电影在国际影坛占有一席之地的巨大助力，同时也对在全国范围提升电影的产业价值发挥了重大作用。在真实的录音棚中为经典的译制影片配音，行走在仿如现实的上海南京路摄影场景中，亦或是在“灯光地毯”上过一回明星瘾，千万虚拟粉丝和摄影师的闪光灯试图捕捉刚刚经过的“明星们”；在上海电影博物馆，参观者成为了电影中的一员，并被邀请积极地参与到其中。融入到电影世界中这个关键的概念成为了贯穿上海电影博物馆的主线，以国际化的新文化热点吸引力结合一定的本土特色，将历史文物与周围的互动环境无缝地衔接在了一起。

The Shanghai Film Museum is located on the former site of the Shanghai Film Studio in Xujiahui, the bustling center of Shanghai. The new film museum sits on 4 floors, with more than 70 interactive installations and more than 3,000 historical relics on display. As the city's first film museum, it will be a huge boost for Shanghai films to gain a foothold in the international film scene, and also play a major role in enhancing the industrial value of films across the country. Dub a classic dubbed film in a real recording studio, walk in the realistic Nanjing Road photography scene in Shanghai, or have a star addiction on the "light carpet", thousands of virtual fans and photographers' flash Trying to capture the "stars" just passing by; at the Shanghai Film Museum, the visitor becomes a part of the film and is invited to actively participate in it. The key concept of being integrated into the world of cinema has become the main thread running through the Shanghai Film Museum, with the attraction of international new cultural hotspots combined with certain local characteristics, seamlessly connecting historical relics with the surrounding interactive environment.

Professional animation studios, post-production studios, sound effects studios and live recording studios led visitors to understand the process and characteristics of the film industry using traditional techniques and modern digital technology to create a new chapter for the screen. The new generation of film visitors can experience the vigorous development of Shanghai's film industry and the splendid future it has created for the city.

Linking the past, today and tomorrow, and incorporating functional facilities such as a DIY studio, a 4D cinema, a multifunctional banquet hall, a museum store and a light and shadow bar, the Shanghai Film Museum represents a new sense of museum design. It is a lively "living" environment, where professional and non-professional visitors share knowledge, interact, and be inspired. This drive for exchange and dialogue is at the heart of the design concept that orchestrates Asia for the new film museum: to be a community that inherits traditions and shares stories – and the most exciting part is never finished.

作为与上海电影集团合作的一部分，协调亚洲为新的上海电影博物馆设计创作了与其空间设计相符的视觉识别体系。一览这套视觉识别体系，仿佛联系着过去与现在，沟通着上海电影的黄金年代和灿烂光辉的未来。

设计中最主要的挑战在于需要设计一组结构，能够将博物馆的众多移动影像内容沟通联系起来。设计一个众多种类的影像能够互相沟通的平台，简单时尚以黑、白、灰以及金属色为主色调。表现出了电影的关键元素——光与影的特质——这些简单的色调组合将唤起人们对于电影黄金年代的记忆，仿若现代感的舞台承载着历史和现代的内容，最终获得了始终如一的辨别度高的平面图文形式。

As part of a collaboration with the Shanghai Film Group, Coordination Asia created a visual identity for the new Shanghai Film Museum that matches its spatial design. Looking at this visual identity system, it seems to link the past and the present, and communicate the golden age and brilliant future of Shanghai cinema.

The main challenge in the design was the need to design a set of structures that would be able to communicate and link the many moving image content of the museum. Design a platform where many types of images can communicate with each other, simple and fashionable with black, white, gray and metallic colors as the main colors. Expressing the key elements of film - the qualities of light and shadow - these simple tonal combinations will evoke memories of the golden age of film, as if a modern stage carries historical and contemporary content, and finally achieves a consistent degree of recognition High flat graphic form.
