尚洋艺术设计团队以“一城一地标”的理念,为其打造北京最大旗舰店,在900多平的双层空间里,通过颠覆性的设计撼动零售市场,将其塑造为始祖鸟品牌未来5年门店形象的标杆。设计以山脉森林的探险之旅为切入点,致敬温哥华文化脉络,通过与自然的持续对话,引导消费者在多元化的主题空间中漫游,给户外爱好者和资深鸟粉带来前所未有的全新体验。
The Shangyang Art and Design team has created the largest flagship store in Beijing with the concept of "one city, one landmark". In a double layered space of over 900 square meters, they have shaken the retail market through disruptive design, shaping it as a benchmark for the store image of the Archaeopteryx brand in the next five years. Taking the exploration journey of mountain forests as the starting point, the design pays tribute to the cultural context of Vancouver. Through continuous dialogue with nature, it guides consumers to wander in diverse themed spaces, bringing unprecedented new experiences to outdoor enthusiasts and veteran bird fans.

01 艺术再造:回溯北美文脉根基
本案设计概念由尚洋与ARC’TERYX始祖鸟品牌方合作共创。设计前期,品牌方深度探访温哥华,以当地艺术家对“树”的再创造为主要的灵感来源,将城市户外文化艺术品延续并运用到门店中。
01 Art Reconstruction: Tracing the Roots of North American Culture
The design concept of this case was co created by Shangyang and the ARC'TERYX founder brand. In the early stage of design, the brand visited Vancouver in depth, taking the local artists' recreation of "trees" as the main source of inspiration, and continuing the city's outdoor cultural artworks and applying them to the stores.

项目场地呈L型直角,外立面运用灰色岩石与玻璃嵌合,通过大胆的设计手法形成震撼的视觉感,打造品牌独特的个性和记忆点。设计还原自然山体,骨架形logo发光装置立于凹凸纹路的界面上,在外部环境中形成始祖鸟独特的场域氛围,引导顾客进入北美山脉森林的情境之中。入口处设置轻盈质感的格栅亚克力材质雨棚,同时在街道往外拓展与消费者互动的休息区域。
The project site has an L-shaped right angle, and the exterior facade is made of gray rock and glass, creating a stunning visual effect through bold design techniques and creating a unique personality and memory point for the brand. The design restores the natural mountain range, with a skeleton shaped logo illuminated device standing on the textured interface, creating a unique atmosphere of the Archaeopteryx in the external environment, guiding customers into the context of North American mountain forests. A lightweight acrylic grille canopy is installed at the entrance, while a rest area for interaction with consumers is expanded beyond the street.

空间寻求着一种人与自然紧密结合的关系,以艺术创新的方式演绎户外精神。在门店仰角位置,穿过通透的玻璃立面,巨型枯树根植入场景之中。本案坚持材料的可持续性应用,在悬空的楼梯平台处,设计团队将工厂回收的废弃锈板打造一个高达2米的松果艺术装置,与贯穿而上的大树根相呼应,营造强烈的艺术氛围。
Space seeks a close relationship between humans and nature, interpreting outdoor spirit through artistic innovation. At the elevation position of the store, through the transparent glass facade, giant dead tree roots are implanted into the scene. This case adheres to the sustainable application of materials. At the suspended staircase platform, the design team created a 2-meter-high pine cone art installation using discarded rust plates recycled from the factory, which echoes the tree roots that run through it, creating a strong artistic atmosphere.

02 木石元素:汲于高山,溶于自然
在这个二层的空间里,一层主要规划为攀岩、徒步系列的专业产品区,适用于山脉、森林场景;二层设置为城市生活产品区,涵盖24系列、VEILANCE系列和山地课堂。岩石、树木与木纹元素应用于整个空间,与山地结合表达始祖鸟的品牌基因。空间内部环境灯光与产品局部灯光相结合,通过冷暖对比为不同场域营造氛围。
02 Wood and Stone Elements: Derived from high mountains, dissolved in nature
In this second floor space, the first floor is mainly planned as a professional product area for rock climbing and hiking series, suitable for mountain and forest scenes; The second floor is designated as the urban living product area, covering the 24 series, VEILANCE series, and mountain classrooms. Rock, tree, and wood grain elements are applied to the entire space, combined with mountains to express the brand genes of Archaeopteryx. The combination of ambient lighting inside the space and local lighting of the product creates an atmosphere for different areas through temperature contrast.

“我们希望能把自然和店内的服装、装备上的功能融合在一起,让户外爱好者体验极致与产品的融合,在场景当中感受身临其境的沉浸感,通过品牌形象的升级实现消费者对品牌的认同”,ARC’TERYX始祖鸟品牌方Only Song介绍道。

团队从森林里寻找倒塌的枯树,将废木切片,用玻璃包裹成装饰立柱。年轮脉络记录着大树在生长过程中经历自然环境的磨砺,这种坚韧不拔的意志,与始祖鸟“突破极限,向上而生”的精神不谋而合。
The team searched for collapsed dead trees in the forest, sliced the waste wood, and wrapped it in glass to form decorative columns. The annual rings and veins record the natural environment's tempering of the tree during its growth process. This tenacious will coincides with the spirit of the Archaeopteryx, which "breaks through limits and rises".

陈列区定制不规则形状的岩石展台,锈色金属的树枝剪影板墙与店铺整体“树”主题呼应。树洞的概念运用至一楼店铺,每一个场景都源于自然,以回应户外爱好者的渴求。该区域主要是年轻户外产品线,未来也可以用作特殊商品发售。
Customized irregularly shaped rock exhibition booths in the display area, with rust colored metal tree branch silhouettes on the wall, echoing the overall "tree" theme of the store. The concept of tree holes is applied to the first floor store, and every scene originates from nature to respond to the desires of outdoor enthusiasts. This area is mainly for young outdoor product lines, which can also be used for the sale of special products in the future.

03 城境脉络:文化性与科技感的融合
眺望京城,巍峨的古建筑群与天空融为一体。本案从该意向中提取屋檐瓦片元素应用于VEILANCE商务区域外立面,以诠释中国古建筑风貌,展现始祖鸟品牌的文化性与包容性。灰色金属和水泥材质营造硬朗的空间氛围,衬托城市环境户外产品的气质。
03 Urban Context: Integration of Culture and Technology Sense
Looking out at the capital, the towering ancient buildings blend seamlessly with the sky. This case extracts eaves tile elements from the intention and applies them to the exterior of the VEILANCE business area to interpret the style of ancient Chinese architecture and showcase the cultural and inclusive nature of the Archaeopteryx brand. Gray metal and cement materials create a tough spatial atmosphere, highlighting the temperament of outdoor products in urban environments.

The overall space highlights the integration of outdoor and technological elements. The display devices extract the form of production line equipment and use acrylic and metal materials to convey the brand's research and modification process, paying tribute to the outdoor spirit of the ARC'TERYX ancestor bird.

24系列产品陈列区框架结构采用木质材料,不规则山体的展台底座从细节上呈现户外感。山林岩洞造型设置在二楼山地课堂区域,木桩矮桌、布艺沙发及装饰地炉,打造了木质感的休息环境,让消费者在品尝咖啡的同时,聆听攀岩界大师分享,通过品牌宣导拉近距离。
The frame structure of the 24 series product display area is made of wooden materials, and the irregular mountain shaped booth base presents an outdoor feel from the details. The design of the mountain cave is set in the mountainous classroom area on the second floor, with wooden stakes, low tables, fabric sofas, and decorative stoves, creating a wooden like resting environment. Consumers can enjoy coffee while listening to the sharing of rock climbing masters, and get closer through brand promotion.
