不期而遇 I “棱镜”空间装置

不期而遇

在疫情席卷下，我们曾经历过恐慌、坚持、怀念，也曾感到彷徨…… 疫情过后，我们学会珍惜每一次相逢，期盼着下一次重逢。在匆匆的行色中，我们或许无法辨识口罩背后的表情，只能匆匆擦肩而过……

基于这样的背景，我们构想了一个“不期而遇”的场所。

Encounter unexpectedly

Under the impact of the epidemic, we have experienced panic, persistence, nostalgia, and also felt lost... After the epidemic, we have learned to cherish every encounter and look forward to the next reunion. In the hurried movement, we may not be able to recognize the expression on the back of the mask, and can only hastily brush past

Based on this background, we have envisioned an "unexpected encounter" place.

这个艺术装置以一种全新的方式创造了更多的“偶遇”体验：没有明确的入口，人们从不同的缝隙进入到宽敞的内部空间中——在这不期而遇的瞬间，或许是目光交汇，或许是默契的沉默，或许是微笑点头，或许是一瞥间的共鸣，又或许是畅谈心事……

This art installation has created more "encounter" experiences in a brand new way: without a clear entrance, people enter the spacious interior space through different gaps - in this unexpected moment, perhaps it is eye contact, perhaps it is tacit silence, perhaps it is a smile and nod, perhaps it is a resonance at a glance, or perhaps it is talking about heart matters

不经意的互动

MARS在北京西单的更新场展示了一组互动艺术装置作品——"棱镜"，这是对瞻星和北京国际城市建筑双年展的热情响应和创新贡献。

Inadvertent interaction

MARS showcased a set of interactive art installations called "Prisms" at the update venue in Xidan, Beijing, which is a passionate response and innovative contribution to Zhanxing and the Beijing International Urban Architecture Biennale.

展区的外围墙面采用哑光铜色铝板，这种设计引发了过往行人对内部的好奇心，他们通过缝隙窥视，渴望探索内部的神秘之处。而展区的内侧墙面则采用镜面不锈钢，多重反射的效果增强了互动性，吸引着进入的人群停留、探索、沉浸其中。

The outer walls of the exhibition area are made of matte copper aluminum panels, which arouses the curiosity of passersby who peek through the cracks, eager to explore the mysteries inside. The inner wall of the exhibition area is made of mirrored stainless steel, which enhances interactivity through multiple reflections and attracts visitors to stay, explore, and immerse themselves.

空间内部多维度的镜面金属放大了人与人之间的互动：你会注视镜中的自己，或偷瞄身后的路人，或与镜面折射下的另一个眼神不期而遇，这一系列的互动可能带来更多惊喜。

The multi-dimensional mirrored metal inside the space amplifies the interaction between people: you will gaze at yourself in the mirror, steal glances at passersby behind you, or unexpectedly meet another gaze reflected by the mirror, and this series of interactions may bring more surprises.

跨界展览

这个兼具视觉冲击和互动感的艺术装置不仅是一种艺术体验，也是艺术家和设计师展示作品的展陈空间。在这里，艺术家的插画、家具设计、艺术收藏、首饰设计、瓷器设计等作品得以展示，呈现出多样的艺术形式和创意想法。

Cross border exhibitions

This art installation that combines visual impact and interactivity is not only an artistic experience, but also a space for artists and designers to showcase their works. Here, artists can showcase their illustrations, furniture design, art collections, jewelry design, porcelain design, and other works, presenting a variety of artistic forms and creative ideas.

三棱锥体的展示空间设计为艺术家的作品展示提供了独特的平台。灯光通过亚克力展台的背后向外散发，温和地凸显了展品的精致和创意。

The display space design of the triangular prism provides a unique platform for artists to showcase their works. The light emanates from behind the acrylic booth, gently highlighting the delicacy and creativity of the exhibits.

在这个暗淡的疫情背景下，你们将这个多维的空间装置称为“棱镜”，这个命名充满了意义。希望这个设计能够像棱镜一样，折射出更多的色彩和希望，为人们带来一丝明亮和温暖。

In this bleak context of the epidemic, you refer to this multidimensional spatial device as a "prism", and this naming is full of meaning. I hope this design can reflect more colors and hope like a prism, bringing a touch of brightness and warmth to people.
