The inspiration for the cover comes from the atmosphere, color, and form of Andalusian culture, reflecting our views on urban lifestyle: its squares, gardens and flowers, architecture and exterior walls, or the strong combination of architecture and Alcazaba's presence, until the most modern architecture. Sculptures, monuments, parks, and urban expressions generated by the habits of urban residents are fundamental components of Malaga's cultural heritage.

The cover of the expo is considered a city framework, in which the dance of expression and images is briefly projected over time, reflecting respect for heritage and cultural values, and confirming the willingness for artistic creation and innovation, allowing people to perceive a vibrant and joyful city, a city that is reinvented while commemorating and celebrating.

A brief cover, like an ancient and immortal cover, symbolizes a place in the city and points out an event. A cover full of feelings, dreams, flowers, and radiance aimed at raising people's awareness of the festive atmosphere in Malaga city.

The gateway is inspired by the atmosphere, colours and shapes of Andalusian culture. It reflects our interpretation of the city’s essence and lifestyle; it’s squares, gardens and flowers, it’s buildings and façades, it’s mixed architecture varying from the influential Alcazaba castle to the more recent constructions. The sculptures, monuments and parks are all expressions of a city generated by the customs of its inhabitants, and therefore represent key pieces of the cultural heritage of Malaga.

The centre fair gateway is understood as an urban frame in which a transient dance of expressions and images takes place showing respect for the heritage and cultural development of the city whilst affirming a desire for artistic creation and innovation in a lively and joyful context, a city that constantly reinvents itself while commemorating and celebrating its past. Our gate announces the festive season to both inhabitants and visitors with it’s changing appearance from day to night, when it lights up and then revives each morning with its bursting flowers. As in ancient monuments, our ephemeral gateway announces an event by marking a place in the city. Its hidden dreams and sensations together with its flowers and lights are deliberately created for participating in the festive atmosphere of the city of Málaga.
